spubbeNoobs in Flames delivered a masterclass on Inferno, suffocating Obsidian Hydra in a lopsided 12-1 victory. From the opening pistol round, NIF dictated the tempo with relentless aggression and ironclad site defense, leaving their opponents with virtually no room to breathe. At the center of the storm was spubbe, who put on a career-defining performance to secure a dominant victory for his squad.
Setting a new personal career record, spubbe posted a towering 1.70 rating (surpassing his previous mark of 1.43), topping the leaderboard with 14 kills, 4 MVPs, and a match-high score of 43. He was well supported by gus, who posted a stellar 1.44 rating with 12 kills, while jonzi (1.25 rating), tuge (1.11 rating), and tebe tq (1.10 rating) ensured all five NIF players finished in positive territory.
Obsidian Hydra struggled throughout the 13-round contest, unable to crack NIF’s defensive setups or regain momentum on Inferno's chokepoints. Aside from a lone bright spot in solarbobo, who tallied 16 kills in a losing effort, Obsidian Hydra’s offense crumbled under pressure as NIF locked down Banana and locked down B-site entries with surgical precision.
This record-breaking performance marks one of the most decisive wins of the season for Noobs in Flames. With spubbe playing at a peak career level and the entire roster firing on all cylinders, NIF sends a loud message to the rest of the league.
